If you are looking for a new Android smartphone or a last-minute gift, Google’s Pixel 10 is a strong contender. It is considered a top Android phone, and it is currently available at Amazon starting at $449 ($350 off) with promo code PIXEL10. This brings Google’s entry-level flagship to its lowest price yet. For those seeking enhanced cameras or a larger display, Amazon also offers the Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro XL for $649 ($350 off) and $799 ($400 off), respectively, using the same code.

A review highlights the Pixel 10 as a capable Android phone, offering notable improvements over its predecessor. It features a 6.3-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight. The device also includes various AI-powered tools and a dedicated telephoto camera, a first for a non-Pro Pixel phone, which is beneficial for capturing portrait photos.

A significant upgrade for the Pixel 10 is the inclusion of Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnets, a convenient feature that eliminates the need for a separate case for precise charging alignment. The phone is powered by Google’s Tensor G5 chip, the same processor found in the more expensive Pro models. While the Pixel 10 has slightly less RAM (12GB compared to 16GB), this difference is unlikely to impact everyday performance unless the device is heavily used for demanding multitasking or intense mobile gaming.

A minor drawback of the Pixel 10 is that its main and ultrawide cameras are not quite on par with those of the Pro models. However, the standard Pixel still produces perfectly acceptable pictures, and the telephoto camera is a welcome addition. At its regular price of $799, the Pixel 10 is considered a good value. At the current price of $449, it represents an excellent deal.
