LG is preparing to showcase its vision for home robotics at CES 2026.

In a recent press release, the South Korean technology giant confirmed the debut of its latest domestic helper robot, named “CLOiD,” at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next January. CLOiD is described as being “designed to perform a wide range of indoor household tasks, enhancing everyday convenience and improving quality of life by making home management more efficient and intuitive.”
CLOiD is expected to feature two articulated arms, each equipped with five finger-like digits, enabling it to handle delicate operations. These arms boast seven degrees of freedom. The robot’s “brain” is a central chip, supported by a camera, a display, a speaker, and various sensors for environmental navigation and communication. Powered by LG AI, the company states that CLOiD will adapt and personalize its interactions based on regular use.
Currently, detailed information about CLOiD remains limited. LG has not yet released official images of the robot, nor has it announced pricing or a specific release date. As is common with CES unveilings, there is a possibility that CLOiD may be a long-term concept, or its mass market availability could be years away, if ever. Further details are anticipated to emerge during the event.
