Introduction
A drummer from Japan, with no professional programming background, embarked on a project to simplify stage direction for a band. This individual utilized Generative AI to develop a “Stage SFX Simulator”, designed to operate directly within a web browser.
The Project: Stage SFX Simulator
The developed tool is a visual simulator for common stage effects, including Flame, CO2, and Sparks. It requires no installation and is compatible with both PCs and iPads.

Motivation Behind the Project
The primary motivation stemmed from the high cost associated with professional simulation software. The creator recognized the potential of modern AI to develop a similar tool independently.
Development Challenges
Significant challenges included accurately adjusting the scaling of effects; for instance, fire effects would not maintain their correct position when the stage size was altered. Ensuring smooth functionality with iPad touch controls also presented difficulties, which were overcome with assistance from AI in handling the necessary calculations.
